Our sweet baby boy turned one on September 3rd, and we had a party for him this weekend. In typical Meeker-Natale household fashion, it was full of family, friends, fun and LOTS of food.
Who says kids get to have all the fun at a 1st birthday party? Here are the adults playing a game of water balloon toss with impenetrable balloons. Oops.
An action shot of Chrissy. She and Los were the champs!
The pinata which didn't do its job either. Thanks Erich for the help!
With Great Grandma, Great Aunt Connie and Grandma!
Some of the girls playing with the HUGE teddy bear Nate got from Grandma and Grandpa. He loves it!
The birthday boy!
I love this picture - thanks Chris.
Some of the gang taking a well-deserved rest after a day of parenting.
Nate wasn't so sure of the cake/loud singing at first.
Hmmm...
There's a smile, almost! He was super-tired since he really didn't nap much during the day and had some congestion. But, like the easy-going bubs that he is, took it all in stride.
In PJs ready for bed!
The goody bags. There's a story behind this. For another time.
Alex and Joy, very serious about this beer pong game!
Emma utilizing neck hula hoop intimidation tactics. Chilling!
Collin as "Pistol Pete."
Pretty easy to tell which team won this one!
Ha!
Big Man in a Little Helmet.
A victorious pistol dance.
5:42. Otherwise known as "Pain O'Clock." The time Nate woke up (actually technically 20 minutes before this). We'll be recovered hopefully by Wednesday.
Breakfast crew.
Maddy "helping" Nate open his presents!
Performing!
