First Time at the Ocean (while not asleep)

Madeline went to the ocean this week as part of our end of the year (!) work party. It was a beautiful day, but, well, the water wasn't a huge hit....


Walking towards the water, liking the feel of the sand between her feet.


Starting to notice the water, hearing the pounding surf (total sarcasm here, there were very small waves).


Terror.


Perfectly content to play in the sand!

Girls Day In!

Traci and Chrissy came over with their little ones for lunch and playing - a good time was had.






Lily gets an A+ for modeling technique. I couldn't get Madeline to look at me for anything!






When Babies Attack. Coming to Fox this Fall.

Surgery

As many of you know, Madeline had to have surgery on 6/11 to remove a benign cyst from her head. She did really well and it was much harder on Josh and I than on her, really. She was a little groggy coming out of anesthesia, but once she got a decent sleep and meal, she was back to her cute self in no time.

Sprinkler with Friends

It was really hot a few weekends ago, so Erich and Ella came over for a visit with their sprinkler and the following ensued:
