I've been a bit behind lately, but here are a bunch of photos from the past month and a half....
The Millers and Meekers went hiking up to see our local waterfall. It was a beautiful fall day (until I pulled TWO deer ticks off me. Great.).
Dress up!
We had the pleasure of (Great) Grandma Pam's company for a weekend!
Loving her great Grandma!
Fun with touchable bubbles.
We spent Thanksgiving out in the Hamptons this year.
Chilly, but we went to the beach once we got there.
Nate loved the beach, especially the
"Watee." He kept making a beeline for the ocean every time we put him down. Needless to say, the beach visit was truncated.
Thanksgiving morning.
Aunt Lee may be dubbed the new "Queen of the Tchotchkes" (sorry Aunt Lil/Teh)
Caroling
The whole gang. And blankie.
The weekend after Christmas, we went to the North Pole Express. It was pretty fun and our first Santa sighting of the season.
He's not so sure about this.
Hot cocoa makes everything better.
First ornament on the Christmas tree.
They really do love each other. Most of the time.
We traveled to Josh's work for the annual holiday Christmas party.
Nate did pretty well at first, high-fived and then tried to kiss Elmo.
Maddy asked for a puppet show for Christmas.
And Nate, well, he "asked" to get the heck off Santa's lap!!
She's loved getting her face painted every year!
On the same Saturday (quite an eventful day), a bunch of us went to a local amusement park that was dolled up for the holidays.
Maddy and El, ready to get the go ahead on the bumper cars.
The poor Bubs was a good sport - he was tired and really couldn't do all that much....
El took no prisoners on the bumper cars, and they had a great time!
Waiting to go on the ride that brings you up and drops you down. Maddy was just tall enough as you can see by the picture!
I don't think she realized what she was getting into!!
