Thanksgiving and tree cutting!

Josh and I had a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving - wonderful family, friends, and of course Madeline! We had a nice Thanksgiving full of food and fun, did some shopping on Black Friday, and got our Christmas tree over the weekend.

Uncle Collin was very helpful Thanksgiving morning - he watched Madeline while Josh and I packed and cooked the turkey.

She had her first sweet potatoes and they were quite a hit! Madeline also loves trying to feed herself, or should I say, she likes teething on the spoon.

All dressed up for the special day. Yes, those are fake Ugg boots that were way too small. I forced her feet in there for a little bit anyway - her heel was halfway in!

Nanny love!

Chillaxin with dad the day after Thanksgiving.

At Target for her first Black Friday, making Aunt Lisa proud, although the crowd was minimal.

Ready to go get her tree! The shirt says, "Santa is my Homeboy" and was given to her by Auntie Summer - too cute.

Madeline did a good job of waking up Uncle Collin from a nap - you can also hear her new sound, "dadadada!"

First half of November

Madeline turned 6 months on November 8th, and what a magical age it is! We just can't seem to get enough of her!

Stylin!

Trying to see mom behind the camera!

Reading with Dad and cousin Elliot during El's first sleepover!

With Elliot and Auntie Summer who still managed to smile the next morning even though she got terrible sleep!

Hanging out with Uncle Mike.

Still not getting the whole "I need to do something in this jumper besides relax" thing.

Playing with DJ at Lily's baptism.

One of her favorite activities - reading with Dad. He also gets the biggest smiles!

Do you think she's teething? Hmm, not sure....
