It's been a beautiful few days here in CT and we took advantage today with some sprinkler action. Madeline has been loving it!

It's been two days and Madeline is really starting to get the hang of potty training. It's amazing what the promise of m & m's will do!

Father's Day Weekend

On Saturday, we had the Day of Josh, to honor what a great father he is! We went out to breakfast in the morning and then the park. Threw Madeline in the pool for the first time and then went to a German restaurant with a beer garden. All very Josh-centric.

Yes, he is playing a video game with Madeline on his lap. The only way this could get better for him was if there was a pile of bacon and a glass of Yuengling next to him!

On father's day, we went down to Trumbull to celebrate with my dad and went to a local rose garden.

The Big Girl Room and Bed

We wanted to transition Madeline into her new room well in advance of the arrival of the new baby. Since, you know, that's what the books say to do so that she doesn't feel displaced. Makes sense. It really took a village! Josh worked hard on painting the room, Auntie Julie and family donated the adorable furniture (so grateful for that!), Brian donated his truck and Mary and Collin went and picked up the furniture and delivered it to our house. Oh, and helped us get a mattress the next day! We are so lucky to have such supportive and generous family and friends. I think the results were pretty good!!!

It's a hit! We've since put bed rails on and she has been doing great in her new room and bed!

We found time to celebrate Uncle Matt's birthday that weekend as well, replete with Cookie Puss of course!

Girl's Night In

The girls, and their girls, came up for a sleepover while Josh went out to do Josh things. Wish we could do it more often!

Memorial Day in the Hamptons

We were so fortunate to be able to spend Memorial Day weekend in the Hamptons with Matt and Joe, Aunt Lisa and fam, and Aunt Lolo and Uncle Dave. We really enjoyed it, especially getting some QT with family and the beach!

We met Auntie Summer and Elliot at BounceU. Summer spent the majority of the time bouncing with kids (thankfully!) and I got to take some photos and enjoy!
