Halloween and first cereal

The past week brought two new milestones: Madeline's first Halloween and first taste of rice cereal. She went trick-or-treating to all of the neighbor's houses. We initially were going to put her in a wheelbarrow and wheel her in the pot around, but unfortunately it wasn't too stable. I think the costume still came out pretty cute though! Thanks Chrissy for lending it to us!

Our little flower!

In the little flower pot!

Go Yanks!

Smooches from Dad.

The first bite of rice cereal was a bit iffy.

Getting better!

Ok, maybe this isn't so bad after all!

Mid October

Our little pumpkin just keeps getting bigger and bigger and is learning new things everyday! She's been suffering a bit from some teething, which is no fun, but overall is very happy and is exploring constantly. Here are a few pics of the past few weeks.

Notice anything similar here?

How about now? :-)

Finally a photo with Uncle Collin!

With some family for September and October birthdays.

Lovin her exersaucer. Whoever invented this thing was a genius!

Beginnings of sitting.

Tummy time isn't too torturous anymore!

Bath-time is still her favorite, although it is no longer relaxing time, but seemingly an aerobic activity with all the splashing!

Pumpkin-Fest

Madeline went pumpkin picking twice in one week - not too shabby for a 5 month old!

On her first hayride!

2nd pumpkin picking trip.

Finally a pic with mom - this is for you Jim!

This was the closest we got to getting all 6 children looking at the camera. We're hoping to keep this annual tradition alive as long as possible!

Thank goodness she has her dad's laid-back personality!

D.J. and Ava - too cute!

We all went back to Kelly and Mike's beautiful new house for dinner - it was so nice!

She's also very helpful with laundry!
