Madeline - first week or so!

We forgot to mention that Madeline was 6 lbs, 1 oz and 21 inches at birth. If she had gone full-term, she would have been a bit over 8 lbs, so mom is kinda thankful she came when she did! Things are going well, we're getting use to very little sleep and Madeline is feeding well. We're hoping to be able to stop giving her supplemental feedings soon, which we've had to do since she was a bit jaundiced at first. Our 2nd doctors appointment is on Friday, so we'll know more then. In the interim, here are some pics of the girl and her friends/family.

A Peanut is Born!!!

Hi all! We just wanted to write to let you know Madeline Rae Meeker was born on May 8, 2009 at 9:55 am - 4 weeks early and a surprise mother's day gift for Nik! We went into the hospital at 4:30 am on Thursday morning after Nik's water broke in the middle of the night and she was born 29 hours later! Here are a few pics of her and her family, we'll try to get better ones of the girl herself soon!
